Deadly crash knocks out power at Kansas Walmart
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A man was killed Sunday after Junction City police said he ran his vehicle into the power supply for Walmart. It happened at the store off of Interstate 70 around 8:30 p.m. Officers arrived and found that "the vehicle hit large electrical components associated with the business," according to a press release. Inside the vehicle, they found a man dead. His identity hasn't been released. The crash caused the store to lose power, and it remains closed Monday, according to its Facebook account. Junction City police said that they do no suspect foul play and that the investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
