Deadly crash between motorbike and car in Hampton
"A tragic incident occurred on Saturday night in Hampton, Virginia, where a motorcyclist lost their life in a collision with a vehicle at the intersection of East Mercury Boulevard and East Pembroke Avenue, according to authorities. The collision was reported around 9:21 p.m., and emergency responders found the motorcyclist unresponsive at the scene. Despite efforts by the Hampton Fire and Rescue team, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead, while the occupants of the vehicle involved sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. Initial findings suggest that the motorcycle was heading south on East Mercury Boulevard and collided with a vehicle traveling east on East Pembroke Avenue. The Hampton Police Division's Accident Reconstruction Team is actively investigating the incident."
