Deadly collision in Raceland
In Raceland, Louisiana, a tragic car accident on Friday, June 13 resulted in the passing of a 65-year-old man named Stephen Armand from Grand Isle. According to the Louisiana State Police, the incident occurred at about 2:00 p.m. The crash involved a Ford F-150 and a Chrysler Voyager in which Armand was a passenger at an intersection on Highway 182. As the vehicles approached the intersection, the Ford tried to pass another vehicle turning right, leading to a collision with the Chrysler making a left turn. Armand and the driver of the Chrysler were taken to a nearby hospital, where unfortunately Armand succumbed to his injuries.
