Creola police officer, another car crash; Highway 43 lanes reopen

(WKRG) — Highway 43's northbound lanes have reopened after a two-vehicle crash involving a Creola Police officer and another car. State Troopers tell News 5 that a two-vehicle crash happened around 7 this morning. A member of the Creola Volunteer Fire Department said a Creola Police officer was in one of the vehicles. The officer was taken to the hospital and is in good condition. They say the other person involved in the crash is OK. This marks the third local officer hit in just the past three weeks.
