Crash slows traffic on Hwy 99 Monday, 3 lanes shut down
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Drivers on southbound Highway 99 are experiencing delays Monday afternoon following a crash near California Avenue. A crash was reported at around 3:50 p.m. July 20 on southbound Highway 99 and the California Avenue off ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page. Two people were trapped due to the collision. All lanes have been shut down except for #1, according to the CHP Traffic Page. A semi-truck was involved in the collision. It is unknown how many vehicles were involved in the crash as of 4 p.m. Check back for updates.
