Crash involving police car prompts lane closure on CBBT
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY)--Motorists can expect delays on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel(CBBT) due to an accident. According to officials, a police vehicle crashed at the one-mile post in the southbound lanes of the bridge. The vehicle is now on the guardrail. Officials say the officer is being taken to the hospital to be evaluated. All southbound lanes are closed.
