Crash closes southbound lanes of I-65 in Conecuh County

(WKRG) — A crash has closed the southbound lanes of I-65 in Conecuh County, according to law enforcement officials. According to an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency news release, a two-vehicle crash happened just before 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Because of the crash, both southbound lanes of I-65 near the 83-mile marker in Conecuh County are closed "for an undetermined amount of time," the release said. ALEA's Highway Patrol Division is working the crash and will provide updates as they are available.
