Coroner identifies 19-year-old woman who died after car crashed into Logan Street building
The coroner has identified a young woman killed in a crash on Logan Street.The crash happened just before 5 p.m. Thursday near E. Broadway in the Smoketown neighborhood.Watch our previous coverage in the player above.Police said a car crashed into a building there.There were three people inside, and a woman, now identified as Ayanna Wilbanks, 19, of Louisville, died at the scene. Her cause of death was listed as blunt force injuries from the crash.Two others in the vehicle were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.At this point, it's unclear who was driving or what caused the crash. LMPD's Traffic Unit is leading the investigation.
