Child, 2, among three killed in Adirondacks plane crash
A 2-year-old child is among three people killed in a plane crash in the Adirondacks. The plane went down late Monday evening near the Adirondack Regional Airport in Harrietstown, which is in Franklin County, about 20 to 30 miles south of the Canadian border. PREVIOUS: Three killed in plane crash near Saranac Lake State Police released the identities and ages of everyone on board Wednesday. They are Guiliana Hillgrube, 2; Gabriella Hillgrube, 33; and Gabriele Jasper, 70. All three were from New Jersey, and three generations of the same family. The aircraft, a 1976 Piper Aerostar, was destroyed in the crash and the resulting fire. The NTSB is investigating the cause of the crash.
