Severe traffic disruptions are occurring in various Central Indiana counties due to freezing drizzle. An accident resulting in a fatality took place on Thursday morning on the west side of Indianapolis. Meteorologist Jim O'Brien warned that roads may appear wet but are actually icy at 28 degrees, creating hazardous conditions resembling an ice rink in some areas. Accidents have been reported in Marion, Hamilton, Boone, Wayne, and Grant counties, with the extent of each crash yet to be determined.
