Carthage man dies after Friday night motorcycle crash
TOWN OF WILNA, N.Y. (WWTI) - A 21-year-old Carthage man has died as a result of injuries he suffered during a Friday night motorcycle crash in Jefferson County. According to New York State Police, Damon Intorcia was operating a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound just after 10 p.m. Friday on State Route 3 in the town of Wilna when he apparently exited the north shoulder of the roadway, struck a guide wire, and was ejected from the motorcycle. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Intorcia deceased. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. No evidence of foul play was identified, and the investigation has been closed.
