Car fire stifles traffic on Interstate 83 southbound in Harrisburg
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- A car fire had Interstate 83 Southbound closed in Harrisburg Sunday evening. The fire was in the area of milepost 44 near 17th Street in Harrisburg and was dispatched around 5:30 p.m. Traffic cameras from 511PA showed smoke billowing from the scene. Traffic was backed up in both directions. By about 6 p.m., one lane was opened through the scene.
