Car collides with Circle K in Allenstown
A gas station in Allenstown has been temporarily closed due to a vehicle crashing through its front windows. According to police, a driver accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brakes while parking, causing her car to collide with the Circle K store on Allenstown Road early Tuesday morning. Fortunately, there were no individuals in that section of the store at the time of the incident. The driver, who is in her early 70s, was uninjured but was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Store employees are currently boarding up the damaged windows in order to reopen for customers.
