Car and pickup collide on Old U.S. 24 near New Haven
New Haven, Ind. (WANE) - Police are trying to determine what caused the driver of a car to cross the center line in the 15000 block of old U.S. 24, northeast of New Haven early Friday morning. The driver of the car is dead and the driver of the pickup the car collided with is in critical condition according to a spokesperson with the Allen County Sheriff's Department. The car was going east on Old U.S. 24 just before 5:30 a.m. when the crash happened. A stretch of Old U.S. 24 is closed as a result of the crash which is visible from U.S. 24., however traffic has not been disrupted on the highway.
