Car accident in Milford causes injuries, power loss, and road shutdown.
A two-vehicle crash near the Milford Fire Department West Side Station 8 caused one person to be injured and a utility pole to be damaged on Friday night. Firefighters returning to the station noticed a car fire in front of the station and upon arrival found the crash involving one car's engine catching fire after hitting a utility pole, resulting in a power outage in the area. The fire was quickly put out, and one person was taken to the hospital for assessment. The exact number of individuals involved in the crash was not disclosed.
