Cambria County man killed after 3-vehicle crash, coroner says
MIFFLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- The Mifflin County Coroner's Office on Thursday identified the 21-year-old man killed in a three-vehicle crash earlier this week. Hunter Massey, of Cambria County, formerly of Huntingdon County, died from the crash in the area of 2103 US Route 522 South in McVeytown on Monday, July 20, around 1:40 a.m., the coroner's office said. His cause of death was determined to be from multiple traumatic injuries, and the manner of death was ruled accidental, according to the coroner's office. An autopsy was performed Tuesday, July 21. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Massey was traveling south in a 1998 Audi when he crashed into a vehicle that had entered the roadway. That vehicle rolled over and hit the guide rail while the Audi went into the other lane and was hit by a third vehicle. Troopers did not mention if there were any other injuries from the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
