Barbecue plate sale to benefit family of woman killed in three-vehicle crash
SAN ANTONIO — A barbecue plate sale will be held today to help raise funds for the funeral expenses of Elizabeth Alejos. The fundraiser is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Miller's Pond. Plates will cost $12 and include a quarter chicken leg, sausage, rice, beans and potato salad. According to information from the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office, Alejos, 26, died from blunt force injuries. Her death was ruled an accident. A third driver was evaluated by EMS and cleared at the scene.
