Auto-pedestrian crash redirects Ravenel Bridge traffic, MPPD responding

(WCBD) - Emergency crews are responding Friday morning to an auto-pedestrian crash near the Ravenel Bridge. The accident happened on West Coleman Boulevard near Patriots Point Road just before 11 a.m. News 2 has learned that one person was taken to an area hospital by EMS for treatment. The Mount Pleasant Police Department and first responders are on the scene. Traffic coming off the bridge from Charleston is being redirected onto Highway 17.
