At least 1 killed in crash on Indy’s south side
INDIANAPOLIS — At least one person is dead following a crash on the south side of Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers received reports of a personal injury crash in the 30 block of West Thompson Road around 3:11 p.m. IMPD has confirmed this is a fatal crash. The IMPD fatal crash investigation team has been called to the scene. Traffic on West Thompson Road between South Meridian Street and South Senate Avenue will be impacted for a significant time, according to IMPD.
