All northbound I-5 lanes closed at Lombard Street due to deadly motorcycle crash
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- All northbound lanes of Interstate-5 at Lombard Street reopened late Thursday night after a deadly crash. The crash occurred near milepost 305 at North Columbia Boulevard just after 5 p.m. "When officers arrived they found a crash involving a motorcyclist and a driver. Lifesaving measures were attempted by community members. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived and evaluated the rider, but determined that the motorcyclist was deceased," Portland police said. The driver is cooperating with authorities, police said. The freeway reopened at 10:30 p.m.
