Albuquerque police officer involved in fatal crash on Isleta Pueblo
An Albuquerque Police officer was involved in a fatal crash that happened on the Isleta Pueblo on Thursday. Albuquerque police say an officer was responding to assist other officers who were trying to arrest a suspect. The officer crashed into another vehicle on State Highway 47 at Isleta Lakes Road. Police say the driver of the other vehicle died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. The officer was not injured. New Mexico State Police are investigating the incident.
