Accident involving Vermilion High School ski club bus

A bus carrying Vermilion High School ski club members was in an accident on Friday evening while returning from Peek'n Peak ski area in upstate New York. The incident occurred on Interstate 90 in Lorain County when the bus hit a tractor-trailer wheel and tire in the road, causing it to briefly swerve through traffic before coming to a stop with damage to its left side wheels and tires. Fortunately, the bus driver and club advisor safely evacuated the students without any injuries. Another bus transported the students back to the high school. The Vermilion Local School District expressed gratitude for the teachers and transportation professionals who ensured student safety during the incident.
