87-year-old man in Farmersville dies in alleged DUI crash according to police
Farmersville, Calif. - A suspected drunk driver was arrested for causing a fatal collision with an 87-year-old man on Sunday evening, as announced by the Farmersville Police Department. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on South Farmersville Boulevard, near Oakland Street. Upon arrival, officers found the elderly man injured and provided medical assistance before transporting him to a nearby hospital, where he later passed away. The driver, identified as Valentin Torres, 38 years old from Exeter, was cooperative but found to be intoxicated at the time. He was taken into custody on DUI charges.
