Police identify motorcyclist killed in crash in Fairfax Station
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in Fairfax Station on Thursday. The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said officers were called at around 7:15 p.m. to the Ox and Chapel roads intersection for reports of a crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle. FCPD said, preliminarily, it is believed that 39-year-old Jennifer Hollingsworth of Fredericksburg was riding a 2025 Suzuki GSXR 750 motorcycle along Ox Road when she crashed into a 2021 Buick Enclave that was making a left turn. Hollingsworth died at the scene, and the Buick driver was not hurt. The driver stayed at the scene of the crash. FCPD said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash for the Buick driver, but alcohol and speed are still under investigation for Hollingsworth. The crash is still being investigated.
