87-year-old Coleman man killed in early morning car accident
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A Coleman man died in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning on a rural county road, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. According to a press release from DPS, the crash occurred around 6 a.m. on March 23 on County Road 402 in Coleman County. DPS stated that a 2022 Dodge Ram pickup was traveling west on Country Road 402 when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway on the north side. The pickup struck a metal pipe fence and rolled over. The driver, identified as Bobby Eugene Dickinson, 87, of Coleman, was wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.
