79-year-old bicyclist killed in Highway 99E crash in Woodburn, Oregon State Police say
Oregon State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a bicyclist. READ MORE | Authorities searching for kids, 9 and 10, missing out of Bend, Ore. since July 23 On Friday, July 24, troopers responded to a vehicle-versus-bicycle crash on Highway 99E in Woodburn. “The preliminary investigation indicated a gold Ford Expedition, operated by Eduardo Felix Diaz, 24, of Woodburn, was traveling northbound on Highway 99E near Cleveland Street in Woodburn when it struck a bicyclist, Howard Roy Hagen, 79, of Woodburn, who was attempting to cross the highway,” Oregon State Police said. Police said Hagen was pronounced dead at the scene. Diaz remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
