Seven individuals were harmed, with at least one in critical condition, in a multiple-vehicle collision on Interstate Highway 80 in Fairfield on Sunday morning, as reported by officials. The incident occurred on the eastbound side of I-80 close to the truck scales and included four vehicles, according to a social media update from the Fairfield Fire Department at 4:38 a.m. Emergency medical personnel transported seven injured individuals to the hospital, with injuries ranging from severe to minor.
