63-year-old woman dies in crash near Lyman Thursday
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- A 63-year-old woman from Reliance died in a crash near Lyman Thursday night after colliding with a semi truck. According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, around 7 p.m. Saturday, the woman was driving a 1998 Suzuki mini Truck when she entered the intersection of 324th Avenue and S.D. Highway 248 without stopping and collided with a semi truck. The woman was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from her vehicle. She sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the semi truck was not wearing a seat belt and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The investigation is still ongoing. The names of those involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
