62-year-old man fatally crashes in Chicago's South Side
A man, aged 62, passed away in the early hours of Sunday after his pickup truck collided with a median on the South Side. The incident occurred at 3:39 a.m. in the 8700 block of South Lafayette Avenue, as reported by the police. Emergency responders from the Chicago Fire Department provided treatment at the scene before transporting the man to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. There were no additional injuries reported, and the Major Accident Investigation Unit is overseeing the investigation.
