One dead, two injured after collision in Colleton County: SCHP
COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly collision that occurred Friday morning at the intersection of Jefferies Highway and Academy Road. At approximately 8:08 a.m., a 2015 Toyota sedan was traveling south on Jefferies Highway and struck a 2013 Chevrolet sedan and a 2017 Nissan SUV that were both stopped at the intersection facing south, according to SCHP. The drivers of the Chevrolet and Nissan were transported to local hospitals for their injuries. The driver of the Toyota died from their injuries. This collision is an ongoing investigation.
