6 taken to hospital after ‘serious’ 3-vehicle crash in Monroe
MONROE, Conn. (WTNH) — Six people were taken to the hospital Monday evening, and Route 110 in Monroe is closed due to a "serious" three-vehicle crash, according to fire officials. The crash occurred around 6:20 p.m. in rainy conditions at the intersection of Route 110 and Wheeler Road, officials said. As of 8:25 pm, Route 110 remains closed between Moose Hill and Old Tannery roads. Multiple fire units and police were on scene to assist emergency medical services staff.
