3 injured in multi-car crash on southbound I-75 in Sarasota County
SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — A multi-vehicle crash in Sarasota County shut down the southbound lanes on I-75, officials said. According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, the closure is at mile marker 208, south of Fruitville Road. The Florida Highway Patrol said three vehicles were involved, and three injuries have been reported. Photos sent to WFLA showed one vehicle being lifted after being stuck by another. The lanes have since been reopened.
