3-car crash slows traffic on West Jefferson
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Traffic in a congested construction zone was further slowed Wednesday afternoon after a crash on West Jefferson Boulevard. Shortly before 2:30 p.m., three vehicles collided on the busy street near the intersection with Illinois Road. Westbound traffic on Jefferson was slowed, dispatch confirmed, and no major injuries were reported. The crash caused a traffic backup, although no part of the road was completely shut down. Traffic appeared to be flowing more smoothly by 3:30 p.m. One of the vehicles involved reportedly drove away from the scene. Details on what led to the collision have not been confirmed.
