21-year-old killed in I-71 crash in West Jefferson; truck driver injured
Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday in West Jefferson's Madison County. According to a release, a Freightliner driven by 42-year-old, Bekhzod Asrarov, traveling southbound on I-71 hit and killed the driver of a 2025 Honda Accord. Tobias Forsythe, 21, of Gahanna sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash and died on the scene. Asrarov was transported to Grant Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
