1 dead after motorcycle, SUV crash in Palm Beach County
One person is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Friday. According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue , crews were dispatched around 4:15 p.m. to the intersection of 10th Avenue North after receiving reports of a motorcycle crash. When firefighters arrived, they found a motorcycle and an SUV involved in the crash, with one person lying in the roadway. The deadly crash closed the intersection, with northbound South Congress Avenue traffic diverted east onto 10th Avenue North while motorists experienced delays in the area. An SUV with heavy damage is seen stopped in the road, while a motorcycle lies in the street with debris scattered across the roadway. Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said. The other person involved declined transportation to a hospital. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
