1 dead after crash on southbound I-75 in Collier County, roads closed
One person is confirmed dead after a crash on southbound I-75 in Collier County Wednesday morning.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers are investigating a three-vehicle crash on southbound I-75 at mile marker 110.Traffic is being diverted off at mile marker 111 on Immokalee Road while emergency crews continue to investigate.FHP confirmed one person died in the crash.Traffic is backed up for more than 10 miles along southbound I-75 as roads remain closed between the Immokalee Road exit and the Pine Ridge Road exit.Northbound I-75 remains open.DOWNLOAD the free Gulf Coast News app for your latest news and alerts on breaking news, weather, sports, entertainment, and more on your phone or tablet.
