1 dead after 3-car crash shuts down of E Burnside and SE Stark in Gresham
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A three-car crash has resulted in one death and a road closure near East Burnside Street and Southeast Stark Street in Gresham, authorities said. Just after 7 p.m., three ambulances were also on the scene, the Gresham Fire Department confirmed to KOIN 6 News. The Gresham Police Department said officers are currently working the scene and will provide more information later. Around 8 p.m., KOIN 6 News crews saw a car still flipped over off the side of the road near the crash site. TriMet also pushed out a service alert, saying their MAX Blue Line was disrupted "due to police activity near Rockwood/E 188th Ave," a transit stop near the intersection where the crash happened. Line 20 between SE Stark and182nd is also impacted. Shuttle buses will be provided both ways between E 172nd Ave and Civic Drive.
