York County fatal crash victim identified
NORTH CODORUS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) - A York County man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash on Thursday morning. The York County Coroner's office says they were dispatched to Seven Valleys Road shortly after 7 a.m. on March 12 for a fatal crash involving a tractor-trailer. The coroner's office says 61-year-old John Gross of Glenville was driving north when his vehicle traveled into the southbound lane for an unknown reason. Gross's pickup truck impacted a tractor-trailer head-on, resulting in the pickup truck catching fire. Northern York County Regional Police say the tractor-trailer driver and the company are cooperating with police. The crash remains under investigation, and the cause and manner of death are pending at this time.
