Woman suffers life-threatening injuries in Greene County farming accident

GREENE COUNTY, Iowa -- A woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a farming accident early Wednesday afternoon. At around 12:25 p.m., the Greene County Sheriff's Office, Greene County Ambulance, and Scranton Fire responded to a reported farming accident near the intersection of 270th Street and D Avenue, southwest of Scranton. According to the sheriff's office, a pickup truck had rolled forward and pinned a 32-year-old woman between it and a cultivator. The sheriff's office said the woman was life-flighted to a Des Moines hospital with life-threatening injuries. No additional information has been released.
