Woman killed in single-vehicle crash on I-20 in Birmingham
A woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash on the interstate in Birmingham early Friday morning. The Jefferson County Coroner and Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman as 38-year-old Phylicia Cherea Wilson, of Birmingham. Officials said the crash happened just after 2:00 a.m. on Interstate 20 West at the Interstate 59 South interchange. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
