Woman killed in Fullerton crash

A woman was killed in a single-car crash on Raymond Avenue in Fullerton Thursday, after her silver Honda Civic crashed into a power pole. The Fullerton Police Department and the Fullerton Fire Department responded to the crash at 11:34 p.m. Firefighters pronounced the woman dead at the scene. “A preliminary investigation revealed the Honda was traveling southbound on Raymond Avenue in the number one lane when it veered west, striking a curb, a fire hydrant, and then a power pole,” Fullerton PD said. Speed is considered a factor in the crash. It is unclear at this time if drugs or alcohol were also factors. As of Friday evening, authorities have not released the name of the victim in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
