Woman killed, 2 children injured in Northern Kentucky crash
FALMOUTH, Ky. (WKRC) — A woman was killed and two children were hurt after a crash in Pendleton County Friday night. According to Kentucky State Police, 67-year-old Sandra Barker was traveling north on US 27 near Kennedy Ridge Road around 9 p.m. when she crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck head-on. Barker died at the scene. Two children in the pickup truck were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. KSP says the crash is in the early stages of investigation and is being conducted by a collision reconstructionist from its Dry Ridge post.
