Woman hit by second car and killed after exiting wreck near Fern Creek
A driver involved in a collision near Fern Creek passed away, though not from the initial incident. According to the police, the driver exited her vehicle after the collision and was subsequently struck by another vehicle. The Louisville Metro police reported a minor collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Bardstown Road and Watterson Trail, potentially in the dark due to the early hour. The woman driver got out of her car and was hit by another vehicle while on the road, resulting in her being taken to the hospital where she ultimately passed away. The victim has not been identified yet, with the LMPD traffic Unit leading the investigation, and no criminal charges are anticipated.
