Woman ejected from vehicle during fatal crash in Ashland County
ASHLAND COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) -- An investigation is underway into a fatal crash in Ashland County Sunday. According to troopers, it happened on State Route 545 and Township Road 856 and involved one vehicle. A news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Britany Bikauskas, 38, of Greenwich, Ohio, was driving south on Route 545 when her vehicle went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, then went off the left side of the road where it overturned. Bikauskas was not wearing her seatbelt, troopers said. She was thrown from her vehicle and died at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
