Woman charged in wrong-way fatal crash set for Monday arraignment in common pleas court

A woman accused of stealing a car, driving the wrong way and causing a fatal accident that killed a Columbus city assistant prosecutor is schedule to be arraigned Monday afternoon in Franklin County Common Pleas Court. Xiaoke Fan allegedly stole a car at Riverside Methodist hospital, then drove the wrong way on State Route 315 and caused a crash that killed city prosecutor Kaitlyn Spahr and injured the driver of the car, Spahr was a passenger. Fan was indicted earlier this month in connection with the May 4 deadly wrong-way crash on SR-315. She’s charged with aggravated robbery, robbery, theft, aggravated vehicular homicide, aggravated vehicular assault and involuntary manslaughter.
