Woman charged in Loves Park hit-and-run accident that injured pedestrian

LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — A woman has been charged in a hit-and-run accident that injured a pedestrian in Loves Park earlier this month. According to court records, Cinnamon Cellitti, 48, faces charges of reckless driving and failure to report a crash after a hit-and-run involving a female victim in the 400 block of Clifford Avenue, near N. 2nd Street, on June 17. Authorities were called to the scene around 10:40 a.m., and said the victim suffered serious injuries in the crash. Cellitti faces charges of reckless driving, failure to reduce speed, failure to report an accident, and failure to stop and remain on the scene of an accident involving personal injury. As of Tuesday afternoon, Cellitti has not been taken into custody by local authorities.
