WB I-70 reopens after multi-car crash involving tractor trailers near Oak Grove

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Westbound Interstate 70 has reopened near Oak Grove after multiple cars, including two tractor-trailers, were involved in a crash Monday morning, leaving the highway closed for several hours. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) and KC Scout, at about 10:40 a.m., the westbound lanes of the highway past Oak Grove, near exit 31 in Bates City, were shut down at the 29.4 or 29.6-mile marker due to an injury crash. The MSHP reported that at least two people were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. One is said to be in critical condition at this time.
