Waukesha County Crash: Car Rear-Ends Snowplow
An incident involving a snowplow in Waukesha County led to a fatality and caused significant delays on I-94 on Dec. 8. The Waukesha County Department of Public Works reported that a snowplow, with its warning lights activated, was clearing snow near Springdale Road on westbound I-94 when it was rear-ended by another vehicle around 9:30 a.m. The snowplow driver was unharmed and attempted to assist the other driver who was later taken to the hospital and tragically succumbed to their injuries. As a result, westbound traffic on I-94 was diverted at Bluemound Road/Barker Road, while Wisconsin State Patrol is conducting an investigation into the incident.
