Victims identified in fatal crash in Kanawha County
KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WOWK) - Two people have been identified following a fatal single-vehicle crash along Kanawha State Forest Drive. According to the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office, a pickup truck being driven by Matthew Cornell, 56, of Charleston, was traveling on Kanawha State Forest Drive when the truck left the road and struck a tree. The vehicle then overturned and came to a rest on its top in a creek bed. The passenger in the truck was identified as Tracey Cornell, 55, of Charleston. Both the driver and passenger died at the scene. The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the incident.
