Vehicle passengers rescued after accident downs pole, wires in Rocky Hill
Emergency responders in Rocky Hill, Connecticut had to extract occupants from a vehicle that crashed into a pole early Saturday morning on Cold Spring Road. The incident led to live wires being sprawled across the vehicle and road, prompting officials to close off the area and contact Eversource for power disconnection. Those in the car were safely removed and taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The affected stretch of Cold Spring Road was blocked off between Cromwell Avenue and Highland Street.
